The psychological and physiological issues arising from deep air dives make it a risky proposition. However, with different gases, deep diving can be done safely. Using trimix blends reduces the problems associated with both narcosis and oxygen exposure on deep dives. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen / helium / nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases. This course trains divers to descend to up to 60 meters on normoxic blends, containing no less than 18% O2.

Max Depth: 60 meters

Includes Materials, Equipment, Air Fills and O2 fills, and certification fee.

*Helium fills are at market price.

*Based on 4 days of training.  Additional training days may be required or requested at $300/day.

Prerequisites:

18 years of age, minimum certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI

Decompression Procedures Diver, or equivalent. Provide proof of a minimum 100 logged dives and have sufficent experience doing dives at the deco procedures level.
