Search and Recovery Diver

Losing stuff underwater is never good. Losing stuff underwater and not knowing how to find it is even worse!
This specialty is designed to acquaint the diver with the special skills and techniques necessary to successfully plan, execute and evaluate a search and recovery dive. During this course you will learn how to use a compass, conduct various search patterns, tie appropriate knots and riggings, salvage techniques, and how to use an underwater lifting device.

Course Length: 1 day/2 dives
Cost: $250 per day 1 diver, $200 if 2 or more students sign up at the same time.

Includes Materials, Equipment, Air Fills and Certification Fee

Prerequisites: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent.
