Want to become a safer, more prudent diver or be able to assist in an emergency? Then the SDI Rescue course is meant for you!
The SDI Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. You will learn skills such as how to perform self-rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns, and manage accident scenes. After the SDI Rescue Diver Course, you can enroll in the professional ranks and sign up for the SDI Divemaster Course.
Course Length: 2 days minimum, 3 days if combined with CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider
Cost: $450 for rescue – $600 if combined with CPR/First Aid/O2 provider
$400 if booked with 2 or more people. ($525 with 2 or more people inculding 1st aid, cpr, O2)
Includes Materials, Air Fills and Certification Fee
Prerequisites: 18 years of age, 10 with parental consent. Provide proof of current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider certification (can be combined with course). SDI Advanced Adventure Diver certification, SDI Junior Advanced Adventure certification, or equivalent.
