Night/Limited Visibility Diver

Just Like a factory that never stops working, the reef has its own night shift crew when the sun goes down.

The evening hosts a whole array of creatures and behaviors that are not seen during the day. With most of our dive sites close to shore, Bonaire is truly the ultimate dive destination for night diving. As with all specialty diving applications, procedures are different than those associated with open water diving.
The purpose of this course is to acquaint the open water diver with the procedures, techniques, and potential hazards associated with diving at night, or in limited visibility. Becoming familiar with the use of dive lights, and night diving techniques such as navigation, buddy system procedures, communications, buoyancy control, and interacting with nocturnal aquatic life, the diver can safely enjoy night diving.

Course Length: 2 nights/2 dives

Cost: $250 per day 1 diver, $200 if 2 or more students sign up at the same time.

Includes Materials, Equipment, Air Fills and Certification Fee

Prerequisites: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, SDI Junior Open Water Diver, or Equivalent
Minimum age 18, 10 with parental consent
