Extended Range

Certified in Decompression Procedures? Want to go deeper than 45 meters? This is the next step in TDI’s training program.

Everything is different when you are deep. Some of the world’s best wrecks are way beyond recreational limits. This course provides training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to 55 meters / 180 feet that requires staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The TDI Extended Range Course follows Decompression Procedures in the TDI Tec Diver Training Program, enabling divers to reach greater depths or have longer bottom times with shorter decompression by using two decompression gas blends. It can be taken as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with TDI Trimix course.

Course length: Minimum 3 days, 4 dives

Max Depth: 55 meters/180 feet

Costs: $275 per day 1 diver

$250 per day 2-3 divers

Includes Materials, Cylinders, Deco Regs, Air Fills and O2 fills, and certification fee. We provide equipment for most of our courses. However, at this level of training we require you to have your own basic tec configuration in terms of buoyancy device and double regulators.
